I ate a traffic light.

I ate a traffic light.

Quilting is hard work. Hand-stitching is tough on the fingers. My eyes get tired. Organizing/weeding out stuff from my supply hoard collection is physically demanding. Today I did all those things and I worked up an appetite. Hungry enough to eat a horse traffic light ? Maybe.  I could have settled for the typical quick “clean-out-the-frig” for dinner. There are 3 hamburger patties waiting patiently to be warmed up again. I looked at them and really considered having that for dinner. They looked rather small and not very filling. I bet they’d be great for lunch tomorrow instead. I went back to my sewing and day-dreamed about dinner options. I was hard at work when the hubby came home. I deserved a break. He deserved a fresh, hot meal. I was hungry. I needed a caffeine pick-me-up. I needed someone else to fix my dinner and do the dishes. (Doesn’t that sound wonderful ?!) So I sweetly asked the guys if we could go OUT and get dinner. They said , “Yes” :)  So we went to Taco Bell and I ordered a shredded chicken taco and ate a traffic light with it.
